Matt began ARTIFEX D-ZINES.com in 1998 as a small flyer design business as a junior in college at RPI. His roomate came to him with a dilemma in that he had a new nightclub but no one to create any promotional flyers or a logo. Matt had been using Adobe Photoshop since his freshman year 1996 and knew it would be the perfect platform to design the flyers. In time his roomate's good friend who ran the biggest club in Albany, NY - Nick's Sneaky Pete's reached out and also needed promotional materials and a new logo. This kick-started the business and over the years Matt has always kept those same clients from 1998 and picked up many more along the way. All while also working full time as an Art & Creative Director as well as starting his own indoor & outdoor paintball fields and car customizing businesses from concept to completion.
